Veteran actor-producer Richard Mofe-Damijo is expanding Nollywood’s global reach after finalizing an exclusive worldwide distribution agreement with Nile Entertainment Group for two major titles under the RMD Productions banner.
The partnership, announced yesterday on Nile’s official social media handle, unites one of Nigeria’s most respected creative forces with the distribution powerhouse of Nile Group, Nile Entertainment.
The deal encompasses two highly anticipated films: ‘Radio Voice’, a redemption drama slated for release on April 11, and ‘Revelations’, a cross-cultural narrative filmed in Nigeria and Utah, USA, premiering in August 2025. ‘Revelations’ has already gained international recognition, earning multiple awards at the Utah International Film Festival, including accolades for Mofe-Damijo’s son, Oghenetega Mofe-Damijo for their compelling performances.

“We’ve crafted these stories that could be consumed across borders while preserving their Nigerian soul. ‘Radio Voice’ speaks to redemption without cliche, while ‘Revelations’ examines how cultural identity shapes our most intimate decisions. This partnership with Nile Entertainment allows us to bring authentic Nigerian storytelling to the global audience without compromising artistic integrity.”
‘Radio Voice’ follows the journey of a former sex worker who reinvents herself at a struggling radio station while confronting a past that refuses to stay buried. The film features Richard Mofe-Damijo, Damilola Adegbite, Timini Egbuson, Nancy Isime, Deyemi Okalawon, Nse Ikpe-Etim, Blossom Chukwujekwu, Blessing Obasi and Jasmine Olarotimi.

Meanwhile, ‘Revelations’ explores the complexities faced by a Nigerian-American couple navigating love, cultural expectations, and infertility. Their careers in medicine connect them, but when long-buried secrets emerge, both their marriage and professional lives hang in the balance. The eccletic cast is made up of Richard Mofe-Damijo, Tanya Price, Chioma Chukwuka, Alex Boye, Oghenetega Mofe-Damijo and Ryon Thomas.
The release strategy reflects the film’s global potential. ‘Radio Voice’ will debut theatrically across West Africa before expanding to diaspora markets, while ‘Revelations’ will premiere at a major international film festival ahead of its commercial release.

“When evaluating potential partnerships, we look beyond box office projections to the cultural conversation a film creates,” said Moses Babatope, CEO of Nile Group. “As part of their first productions, RMD Productions has delivered the rare alchemy of crafting stories rooted in Nigerian experiences that speak to universal human emotions. Our data shows audiences worldwide hunger for authentic voices, and these two projects deliver that authenticity as it also maintains production quality that competes in the global market.”
Beyond storytelling, ‘Revelations’ represents an unprecedented technical collaboration, uniting top Nigerian and American film professionals to create a visually stunning and culturally rich cinematic experience. Co-produced by RMD in partnership with Tanya Price of Queen Tutt Productions, based in Utah, the project seamlessly blends a cross-continental production approach.

Oghenetega Mofe-Damijo, a graduate of Towson University, also stars in the movie, marking his official debut in a feature film and showcasing his rising talent on the international stage.
“We approached ‘Revelations’ by blending cinematic traditions rather than replicating either Hollywood or Nollywood formulas. The non-linear narrative structure mirrors how cultural identity actually works—fragmentary, contradictory, and constantly evolving. Working alongside my father taught me that authentic storytelling requires both technical precision and emotional honesty.” Oghenetega stated
The partnership between Nile Entertainment and RMD Productions arrives at a pivotal moment for the Nollywood industry, with Nollywood productions increasingly finding international audiences.
