Dr Busola Tejumola, Head of Content and West Africa Channels, MultiChoice, made the announcement in a statement on Monday, February 20, 2023 in Lagos where she called all African filmmakers to submit their movies and films publicly exhibited or broadcast between December 1, 2021, and January 31, 2023, for the 2023 edition of the awards. She added that the entry portal would be open between February 20 and March 10, 2023
