Following a successful season one of “Little Black Book,” TNC Africa released the teaser for “Little Black Book 2” on their YouTube channel three weeks ago; teasing the addition of new casts.
With the twelve episodes of the first season gaining 1.97 million views, as fans await the official trailer for “Little Black Book 2”, TNC Africa has treated us to character posters of the upcoming season, introducing new cast members Kanayo O. Kanayo as ‘Captain’ and Bimbo Akintola as ‘Idara’.
The new posters also feature returning cast members led by Ikechukwu Onunaku and Teniola Aladese as ‘Leo’ and ‘Tade,’ respectively.
Other actors who joined the already star-studded cast include Nengi Adoki, star of the critically-acclaimed “Juju Stories”, as well as her co-actor in the film, Paul Utomi, Michael Ejoor, Moet Abebe, Jude Chukwuka, and Helena Nelson from MTV Shuga.
TNC Africa has remained quiet about the plot details of the new season, but from the teaser released last month featuring Tade and Leo after what appears to be a steamy night of sex, we can expect that the season will concern the two love birds while exploring the world of the new characters and their relationships with the characters we already know from the first season.
The first season of the Belinda Yanga directed “Little Black Book” told the story of Tade, a brilliant business executive trying to get her life back on track after a series of failures, and Leo, a millionaire hotel entrepreneur defying the odds to keep his business in the green, and a little black book of gorgeous women, unfolding truths and hidden desires between them.
