Nigerian cinemas are about to be filled once again as Inkblot Productions releases the trailer for their upcoming drama, ‘The Betrayed.’ The film is scheduled to hit cinemas nationwide on August 2, 2024.
Shot in Lagos, ‘The Betrayed’ delves into themes of love, lust, and loyalty, exploring the lengths one will go to save a loved one. The film introduces a cast of characters so authentic, they feel like real people grappling with their fears and hidden truths.
This marks the directorial debut of Inkblot co-founder Zulumoke Oyibo. The screenplay, penned by Chinaza Onuzo and Tosan Anyafulu, features a stellar ensemble cast, including Uche Montana, Gabriel Afolayan, Adunni Ade, Ibrahim Suleiman, Jemima Osunde, Vine Olugu, and Stephanie Zibili.
Fans of Inkblot Productions can look forward to an exciting blend of action, breathtaking visuals, and intense emotional moments, as teased in the trailer. Filming for this suspense-filled movie began in February 2024 at key locations across Lagos.
