Bimbo Manuel, originally from Lagos, spent some time in Ibadan before pursuing a career in entertainment. Despite his wild upbringing, he attended schools in Nigeria's Western Region and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from the University of Port Harcourt. Initially aiming to become a DJ due to his love for music, he eventually started working at a television station following a friend's suggestion. His broadcasting career began at OGBC before moving to OGTV.
Bimbo Manuel's acting journey started in 1986 after participating in movies like "The gods are not to blame" and "Hopes of the Living Dead." He was part of the second troupe to play the role in "Hopes of the Living Dead," alongside names like Daniel Wilson, Hilda Dokubo, and Gogo. He has a long history in the Nigerian movie industry, both before and during the Nollywood era, winning awards and gaining recognition for his contributions. Notably, he appeared in the popular TV series "King of Boys" and is an outspoken industry activist addressing challenges within the movie business.
