Gone: A Family Mystery from the MultiChoice Talent Factory

The MultiChoice Talent Factory (MTF) West Africa Class of 2024 is proud to present ‘Gone’, a thrilling mystery drama that explores themes of love, sacrifice, and betrayal. This feature-length final project, written by Winner Achimugu and directed by Anjola Aluko and Omotola Oke Tbasz, premieres on March 7th at 5:30 PM on Africa Magic Showcase, with a repeat showing on March 8th at 7:00 PM on Africa Magic Family.

On his 25th birthday, Damola Akinola’s life is turned upside down when a skeleton is discovered in his family’s soakaway. As the truth unravels, Gone takes viewers on a suspenseful journey filled with shocking revelations, testing the strength of family ties and personal convictions. This compelling narrative is brought to life by a talented cast and crew who have worked tirelessly to deliver a high-quality cinematic experience.

Paul Nnadiekwe stars as Damola Akinola, a young man whose world is shaken by unexpected discoveries. Paul is known for his standout performances in ‘Afamefuna’ directed by Kayode Kasum and Ishaya Bako’s ‘I Do Not Come to You by Chance’. Tolu Odewumi plays Abimbola Akinola, a flawed but loving mother whose past decisions come back to haunt her.

While Teniola Aladese takes on the role of Detective Christie Obi, leading the intense investigation into the Akinola household. Teniola recently impressed audiences with her performance in the hit Christmas film ‘Christmas in Lagos’. The ensemble cast also includes Kelechi Udegbe, Martha Ehinome, Rotimi Adelegan, and Kate Adepegba, all of whom bring depth and intensity to this riveting drama.

The film’s production team, comprising talented MultiChoice Talent Factory students, has worked meticulously to bring this vision to life. Produced by Oluwayanmife Arogundade and Izzy Besta ‘Gone’ promise to keep viewers on the edge of their seats with its gripping storyline and standout performances.
