- Box Office Performance Requirement: To qualify as a performer in any ranking category, an individual must have appeared in one or more films that grossed at least ₦20 million within the eligibility period (January 1st to December 31st of the relevant year).
- Lead Performer Qualification: To be recognised as a lead performer, an individual must have been the designated lead in the films under consideration.
- Supporting Performer Selection: Two male and two female supporting performers are selected per category, with validation from producers and executive producers to ensure accuracy and fairness.
