Tribe Nation Theatrical Distribution Limited presents Nollywood romantic comedy ‘A Romantic Comedy Featuring Lara and Tobi,’ coming to cinemas across French-speaking West Africa on November 8, 2024.

Written and directed by acclaimed Nigerian actress and filmmaker Segilola Ogidan, ‘A Romantic Comedy Featuring Lara and Tobi’ promises a captivating blend of humour, romance, and second chances. The story centres on PR expert Lara, portrayed by Marcy Dolapo Oni, whose life is upended when she’s forced to work with her ex-boyfriend, tech mogul Tobi, played by Taye Arimoro. Having sworn off love after Tobi left her on her sixteenth birthday, Lara now faces a career-defining project—and an unexpected reunion. As old feelings resurface, she must navigate the challenges of love, ambition, and self-discovery.

The film’s cast includes Nengi Adoki, Damilare Kuku, Shaffy Bello, and Uchechukwu Abuah in supporting roles, delivering performances that are sure to resonate with audiences. Produced by Barbara Babarinsa, known for her acclaimed work on ‘Adire,’ ‘Tokunbo,’ and ‘The Birth,’ the film brings together a powerhouse team committed to quality storytelling.
