The pan-African Nollywood thriller ‘3 Cold Dishes’, executive produced by Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy, is now available for streaming in North America on Apple TV and Amazon Prime Video.
The film, which originally premiered in cinemas on November 7, 2025 follows the harrowing and empowering journey of three women, Esosa, Fatouma, and Giselle, who were trafficked as teenagers across multiple African countries. Years later, they reunite to confront the powerful men who destroyed their lives, embarking on a meticulously planned mission that blends suspense, action, and emotional depth.
Directed by Asurf Oluseyi and written by Tomi Adesina, ‘3 Cold Dishes’ features a cast including Osas Ighodaro, Wale Ojo, Fat Toure, Maud Guerard, and Ruby Akubueze. Its mix of English, French, and Yoruba reflects its Pan-African scope and ambition.
The thriller has already made waves in the awards circuit. At the 2025 Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA), it won Best Nigerian Film, Achievement in Production Design, and Best Young/Promising Actor for Ruby Akubueze. It also received nominations at the Septimius Awards for Best Actress (Osas Ighodaro) and Best Screenplay (Tomi Adesina) and won Best World Film at the Harlem International Film Festival, underscoring its international appeal.
