The easy answer is “watch it and be the judge”, but Chidi Mokeme gave the best performance of his life on this show, complimented by RMD’S charismatic performance as the depraved, yet charming Chief Da Costa Fernandez and Shaffy Bello as Dame Dabota. Ini Edo gave a performance of a life time and Nse Ekpe Etim as we all know is a legend in these arts. Mercy Eke was amazing as Jackie considering its her first time. And the story, while simple was so well written – it’s literally unlike any material you have there. The characters are well rounded, no matter their screen time. So watch it. Judge. Show more

Shanty Town was a captivating watch. The storyline was gripping. It had some nudity and gruesome scenes, so be mindful if you’re squirmy.

It was an 8/10 for me.
