Funmilayo kuti is a woman of valour, courage and bold , she earned this from her father who taught her to be, married to Isreal Ransome kuti she earned his full love and support this gave her the victory over Dundee and Alake of egba with the egba women but she lost her husband after to cancer which he hid from her.

The movie was informative and very entertaining and it reminds us the need to embrace gender equality and shun injustice and it’s always good to stand up and fight for what is right, at some point it was very tense but happy she conquered even though it was also tragic losing the man that always supported every of her movement, kudos to the cast and everyone that brought this movie into play.

Wasn’t what I expected. Infinitely better than my expectations. This was a moving movie, enthralling and making you feel like you were actually present at the events.
