This movie is Funke Akindele at her finest! The way she gained weight for the role felt so real. The story hit me hard, especially the self-discovery angle. Only thing is, the romance with Anthony felt rushed. Still, the cast was stellar, and I laughed and cried in equal measure.

It’s not like I wasn’t expecting a good time. I watched it with an open mind.

But this was a good watch, I even prayed agaisnt a Kola situation and this was very reflective for me. I also enjoyed the acting performances, and kudos to Joseph Benjamin, who made me feel so angry at his character; Funke Akindele, who made me want to hug her character; and Dele Odule.
