‘The labour of our heroes past shall never be in vain’ one line that resonates when we research ways to keep our history alive. This is Ekumekwu; a strategic movement waged by the Anioma people, to dissuade the British against the imperialist policies they wished to introduce to the Igbo land. Back in the day, the Anioma people swore to secrecy; this movement was not to be spoken about, and so we've decided not to speak but show. A story that will educate and entertain.
