Known for his quick jabs and quips in Yoruba movies and on social media skits, Sisi Quadri was veteran actor in the Nigerian Movie Industry.
Sisi Quadri's journey into acting took unexpected twists. Despite being raised in a traditional household with expectations of becoming a Muslim cleric, his passion for the arts redirected him towards fashion design. Graduating from a fashion school in 1999, fate intervened when mentors Toyin Olaiya and the late Hameeda Shakeem introduced him to acting in the early 2000s.
His talent quickly garnered attention, leading to minor roles before a breakthrough performance in the 2004 Yoruba movie "Seniyan Seranko." Quadri's comedic skills shone in 2020 with his role in "Ebudola," alongside close friend Funmi Awelewa. The success of "Ebudola" catapulted him to stardom, spawning sequels and solidifying his popularity in skit-making and Yoruba cinema.
He died at the general hospital in Ogbomoso where he was receiving treatment for an undisclosed illness
