Osas Ighodaro is a Nigerian American actress, producer, host and humanitarian. She won Miss Black USA in 2010 and founded The Joyful Joy Foundation, raising funds and awareness for the fight against malaria. Additionally, she co-hosted the 2014 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards.

She is a graduate from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism and dual minor degrees in Entrepreneurship and Theatre. She earned a Masters of Fine Arts Degree in Acting from the Actor’s Studio Drama School at Pace University. She is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated. She hosted the Maltina Dance All Reality show and is the founder of the Joyful Joy Foundation. Since her relocation to Nigeria on 2012, she has bagged a number of roles in film, television and theater including Tinsel, King of Boys and Cadillac Records amongst other reputable projects.

Osas was named the ‘Highest Grossing Box Office Actress’ in Nollywood in 2018 and amongst the top 3 highest grossing actresses in 2020, respectively.
