Jibrin, a Plateau man, wrote and directed the indigenous Plateau film 'The Legend of Khum' Gbow'. This film made history as the only African film screened at the Hollywood Weekly Magazine Film Festival in Hollywood, California, in 2021. The international recognition led to an award from the then Plateau State Governor, Rt Hon Barr Simon Bako Lalong KSG, and has significantly elevated Plateau State, particularly its actors and filmmakers, on the global stage.
