James Omokwe is a Nigerian filmmaker, television producer, and director. A graduate of the New York Film Academy, he is the founder of Feemo Vision Limited. He began his career as an actor before moving into production and directing, creating television series such as Ajoche (2018) and Riona (2020). He also produced Cheta’M, a 130-episode telenovela on Showmax, and directed Osamede, a fantasy-epic film set around the 1897 Benin invasion, slated to premiere at the Cannes Film Market in 2025. Omokwe is married to Theresa, and they have a child together.
