Funke Akindele-Bello, popularly referred to as Funke Akindele or Jenifa, is a Nigerian politician as well as a filmmaker, director, actor, and producer born as the second of three children on August 24, 1977, in Ikorodu, Lagos State, Nigeria.
She attended Grace Children's School in Gbagada, Lagos State, graduated from Moshood Abiola Polytechnic with an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in mass communication, and later went on to the University of Lagos to receive a law degree.
She is a multi-award-winning filmmaker with credits for the top 3 highest-grossing Nollywood movies of all time.
