September 8, 2023: Innovative Television Kontents (ITK), the acclaimed AMVCA award-winning film and television production company, is set to enthral audiences with their upcoming limited series, “Money in The Game.” This captivating five-episode drama promises to be a game-changer in Nollywood, bringing together an exceptional ensemble of talent to weave a gripping narrative.
Headlining this stellar cast are Mawuli Gavor, Enado Odigie, Ifeanyi Kalu, Efa Iwara, Chisom Agoawuike, Atlanta Bridget Johnson, Fadekemi Olumide-Aluko, veteran actor Gentle Jack, and Arik Mallum.
These actors will breathe life into the characters of “Money in The Game,” a series that delves deep into the high-stakes realm of football talent management. Set in Lagos, this production portrays the cutthroat battles between two rival agencies vying for the signature of a young football prodigy hailing from Jos.
Dimbo Atiya, the award-winning filmmaker renowned for his exceptional storytelling, will helm the series as its director. His creative prowess promises to elevate the narrative, keeping viewers on the edge of their seats throughout the series. The executive producers are Karachi Atiya, Safina Melisa, and Obi Ezekwesili.
Principal photography for this exciting project is scheduled to commence in September, with filming taking place in three major cities—Lagos, Jos, and the UK. This international backdrop will provide a stunning canvas for the series’ innovative storytelling techniques.
