‘Over the Bridge’ follows the story of a successful professional whose life spirals after the collapse of a government infrastructure project under his leadership. Consumed by guilt and disillusionment, he vanishes from his old life, setting out on a solitary journey of reckoning and redemption.

The May 30 release will see the film screened in eight countries: Cameroon, Togo, Senegal, Benin, Burkina Faso, Congo, Gabon, and Guinea. Screenings are planned in both major cities and regional locations, offering a broad audience the opportunity to experience the film.

The ensemble cast includes Ozzy Agu, Segilola Ogidan, Chimezie Imo, Deyemi Okanlawon, Akin Lewis, Toyin Oshinaike, Ropo Ewenla, and Joke Silva. Together, they bring depth and nuance to a story that explores ambition, failure, forgiveness, and the search for meaning in a rapidly evolving African society.

Directed by Tolu Ajayi, a filmmaker with a distinguished career in both cinema and advertising, ‘Over the Bridge’ has garnered early critical attention. The film has been featured in international outlets including Deadline, BBC: Focus on Africa, Voice of America, Mundo Negro, Africa Now, and The Nollywood Reporter.
