I’d freely call this rubbish, if not for the respect I have for the hard work filmmakers put in to make a film. But I’m angry. So many things did not add up. From the ‘badness’ of the bad guys to the shoddiness of the cliffhangers. In fact, I didn’t know it had ended by the time it ended.Show more
The devil is in hell and missing from the details. Someone opened a gambling enterprise and not once is it specifically mentioned as to how the business is run. Then to make things worse, they begin to launder money through the same business and nobody ever mentions how the money is laundered. For reference on money laundering in film, AMVenge had a better backstory than whatever is going on here.
‘Ihotu’ is an Idoma name if I am not mistaken; why is every character pronouncing it wrong? Reminds me of that one time Ramsey Nouah couldn’t pronounce his Character’s name correctly in ‘The Millions’.
The ‘Ihotu’ actress is terrible for this role. She could have at least watched other actresses in similar roles before she pulled that awful performance. I had to watch an episode of Slumking to see the amazing Teniola Aladese play Yagazie (Baby Tiger); just so I could get rid of the rubbish I had seen in this show.
One thing done right was casting Kunle Idowu and opening with him looking for a job. Took me back to those job interview days on Youtube.
One other thing is clear, Femi Adebayo can deliver anything.
Summarily, Ololade is proof that not everything that makes it to a streaming platform is good.
I wasted my time with this movie… I wasted my precious time on this movie.
It does not worth it at all…
Useless movie
