Currently, lodged in the hotel are Sexy Ella (A popular Instagram influencer) and her rich boo, whom she met online that just flew in from North Cyprus (Loud mouthed Big Berry). Posh and suave, Halil Omar who is in town to seal a deal, and has his friends visiting, and Pearl who is on a clandestine meeting with her husband's best friend are also lodged in the hotel. Not left out are the hotel staff with their different quirks and idiosyncrasies. Someone winds up dead and everyone in the hotel is a suspect. Will the killer be caught in three days? and can the death really be kept under wraps?

The police badge was funny

I like how serious Bimbo looked all through the movie, for a moment I feared she was going to burst out laughing. The humor wasn’t cringy, which is a plus and above all, it was alright for a crime-comdey movie.

Hotel Labamba is a cleverly written crime story. The twists and turns are laudable, not totally undetectable but better that what we are used to.
The humour wasn’t ridiculous, slapstick or over the top but it had us laughing without any cues. The casting was surprisingly very adequate; we did not see people play roles we were used to and they did just great, maybe even better in these particular roles.Show more
Yes, there were a few plot holes and “obvious” moments but all in all, it was an enjoyable watch.
