Telling the story of a Yoruba known Abobaku (Eleshin Oba) and the disrespect of the Whites to our culture was adequately delivered.
They made the delivery of the message of colonization so mature that it did not take over the whole story.

Kudos to them.
Great casting, lovely acting, the directing was superb.
I love Shaffy Bello’s acting. Regardless, there are still loop holes, cos the story clear and hin no too clear.
Excellent cinematography and cultural depictions. They had a great depth at the expression of the culture and it’s importance to the people. The stance against colonialism and cultural clash was stoic. However, Elesin oba was inadequate the execution and plot of the storyline. It was too unclear why Elesin would take all the blame. Was he magically meant to kill himself, or he’s just as human and could kill himself anytime? Was it his fault that he got arrested etc? I don’t know if they were limited by Wole Soyinka’s original play. I love the story given it was a true part of our history.Show more
