The only issue I have with the movie is that Kunle Afolayan went ahead to use an albino when he had the opportunity to portray African God or spirituality in the movie Anikulapo. But when he wanted to portray a spirit he choose Aunty Ramota. Other than that, it was a good movie.

Owobo Ogunde ate the Bashorun Ogunjimi role in Anikulapo. He’s too classy at it for someone who hasn’t acted since childhood .

The movie had some beautiful shots, but the storytelling felt all over the place. With so many distracting scenes, it really slowed down the pace and made it hard to stay engaged. I think a better title could have been “Bashorun: The Rise of the Spectre” or something similar to capture the essence of the film.Show more

Some people rave about it, but for me, good cinematography can only do so much. The storyline was confusing and didn’t tie things together well. It was hard to connect with the characters when everything felt so disjointed.
