The storyline is top notch

Every cast kill their roles looking forward to season two because this master piece can’t end there too interesting

The cast and crew were very well established. We should not be surprised about this Kunle Afolayans blockbuster and how his movies always leave us on suspense. Remember the figurine??? Kunle Afolayan lives in a universe of his own! A queen creative soul!!!

The best part of the entire plot,are the plot twists and heart racing suspenses.

Particularly is the inclusivity in the movie I.e The inclusion of an albino ( the heavens gatekeeper), the sesame twins, the physically challenged cripples and stunted growth- Aunty ramota in the eerie forest who all added flavours to the movie. This is different in nollywood. Movies should be inclusive! This is a plus to the movie.

The kingdom of Ede also shows the rich culture, migration and integration of the northerners.

The only downside to the movie is the fact that if you do not have a strong heart, you could pass out! some scenes are gory.

Makeup, visual effects , conversations, cinematography were all on point. I see alot of awards in these area. The blood gushing out of Bashoruns heart is a Banger!!! How did they achieve that?

Lesson learnt from the movie? Power intoxicates absolutely, the heart of man is desperately wicked, true love never dies, when you lose it, if its yours, it will come back to you, life is spiritual, there’s always more than meets the eye, and most importantly, are humans a product of their consequences or is there a supernatural power that rules our actions? Can IFA/ oracles/ herbalists/ dividers truly be compromised? Should humans always rely on soothsayers/ diviners to channel the course of their lives?

A must watch for the Liberal and Creative mind! I recommend

The evil Bashorun did was not enough, I wanted him to do moreeee. I hope we get to see him in the next season. He was a proper actor.
