Niyi Akinmolayan is back with new crime drama, “The Man For The Job,” less than three weeks after premiering “King Of Thieves: Agesinkole.”
Unlike “King Of Thieves” which was a co-production, “The Man For The Job” is Akinmolayan’s Anthill Studios’ first cinema title of 2022.
The crime-drama tells the story of a young man who gets ruffled by the plot of an excessively optimistic startup CEO, as he fights to accomplish his family and work-life balance. The new title, set in modern Lagos, was both written and directed by Niyi Akinmolayan.
Coming from her acclaimed performance as ‘Moremi’ in “Citation” (2020), Temi Otedola starred among the top casts as ‘Zina’. Uzor Arukwe, Ini Edo, Atunyota ‘Ali Baba’ Akpobome, Ibrahim Suleiman, and Nosa Okunzunwa complete the top casts for the new title.
The title is filled with twists and suspense and you can find out who the man for the job is in cinemas on Friday, April 29, 2022.
