Lagos, Nigeria.
Terra Academy for the Arts (TAFTA), a respected institution specialising in top-tier creative education and professional development, has forged a strategic partnership with First City Monument Bank (FCMB) to extend soft loans designed to bolster students and businesses across various sectors. This collaboration underscores TAFTA’s dedication to cultivating artistic talents and educational excellence.
In collaboration with FCMB and with support from the Mastercard Foundation, TAFTA is embarking on an initiative to provide accessible financial support through soft loans. These loans are intended to empower aspiring entrepreneurs and businesses to thrive, with a particular focus on key sectors such as agriculture, the digital economy, education, and the creative industry. Notably, these loans come with a competitive annual interest rate of nine percent (9%), rendering them one of the most viable financial options for emerging professionals and innovative enterprises.
Mr. Joseph Umoibom, Programme Lead at TAFTA, emphasised the significance of this partnership in empowering individuals and enterprises within these pivotal sectors. He commented, “Access to funding is often the primary obstacle creative individuals face when bringing their profitable ideas to life. By facilitating straightforward access to financing, our students and alumni can actualise their creative ventures, acquiring essential assets like editing suites, video cameras, and other production equipment.”
The soft loans offer a range of advantages, including flexible repayment durations spanning from 1 to 12 months, which are extendable based on individual circumstances. Monthly repayments are designed for streamlined transfer or collection, while the application process has been simplified with straightforward documentation. Loan processing has been expedited to ensure prompt support.
Individuals can seek loans of up to 500,000 Naira, whereas businesses are eligible for financial assistance of up to 1,000,000 Naira. The application procedure is designed for convenience, with online applications accessible via the link: https://easyliftloanform.fcmb.com/.
This endeavour is poised to reinvigorate, fortify, and expand both established and emerging enterprises, contributing significantly to economic revitalisation and growth. Importantly, this opportunity is open to applicants irrespective of their existing relationship with FCMB, underscoring the shared commitment of both institutions to foster education and creativity.
