Nadia Buari made her debut on Ghanaian national television in 2005 with the TV series Games People Play. Her breakthrough came with the film Beyonce: The President's Daughter, where she played the role of "Beyonce." She has appeared in over 20 movies and was nominated for best actress for her role in Games People Play. In 2013, she released her own movie, The Diary of Imogene Brown. In 2023, she starred alongside Ghanaian Kumawood actress Nana Ama McBrown in the film Coming Africa: Welcome to Ghana.
