Biography
At the age of 14, Hassan joined the drama group Young Stars Concert Party, later known as Ojo Ladipo Theatre Group. She attended the Lagos School of Dramatic Arts in 1970 and then gained admission to the Center for Cultural Studies at the University of Lagos to study theater (diploma). However, due to pregnancy, she couldn't complete the program. Adebayo Salami took over the group after Baba Mero's death in 1978, renaming it Awada Kerikeri (Oga Bello).
