Ogochukwu Ekezie is a storyteller and creative. Prior to founding Red Sand Studios, she spent the first act of her career as a business executive and CMO telling brand stories through award winning ad campaigns that delivered results, won new audiences and penetrated market segments.
At Red Sand Studios, her mission is to elevate African storytelling through movies that not only entertain but also stir the conscience. With over 25 years of experience and a track record of success as a seasoned professional, business executive and board member, Ogochukwu’s vision for Red Sand Studios is to set new standards for quality storytelling and professionalism in Nollywood.
Ogochukwu is an alumnus of the Harvard Business School [Advanced Management Program]. She also holds two bachelor degrees in Journalism and Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland, College Park; and is also a fellow of the prestigious Archbishop Desmond Tutu Leadership Fellowship.
