Wonderful movie!! That’s all I can say!!

Just the regular nollywood story. Nothing exceptional.

Soft Love had the opportunity to be a classic romcom. It had so much potential that the trailer had me looking forward to it but alas I was tricked. The romance was missing even the comedy. Cos real romcomssieurs know the comedy is embedded in the romance hit there was no romance to begin with. The chemistry between the leads was lacking and the storyline was definitely trying to convince itself and us that the lead characters loved each other. Their supposed romance was rushed, it never fully formed so we didn’t have time to sit in it or believe it. The movie could have done without so many scenes. It was long and boring and not cheesy at all. They tried to make it cheesy by throwing in Johnny Drille at the ending but that attempt fall flat cos from beginning to the end, there was no romance.
