Rinu, a blind woman from the suburbs of Ajegunle, is raped by Dr. John, a popular optician known for his charitable work. Rinu initially keeps silent but eventually confides in her aunt, who tells her to keep silent for fear of shame. However, an eavesdropping neighbour hears Rinu’s story and takes it upon himself to cause trouble.
This gains traction on social media, but as the story unfolds, Rinu grapples with psychological trauma of what happened and the the harsh reality of dealing with a community who turns a blind eye to her story, mostly because of what they benefits from the doctors benevolence.
However, hope is kindled when Titi, a UK-trained lawyer determined to prove herself worthy of succeeding her father’s law firm sees her story and decided to take her case.
But is that enough to help Rinu?
