“Kill Boro” to me, is a phenomenal and interesting movie. The cinematography was excellent. The combined language ranging from Ijaw to Pidgin, English and Igbo was so good go hear, to be honest, I learnt new slangs…lol.
I love the part where Boma told Elijah not to pay evil with evil. She’s a great wife and mother trying to protect her family including the unborn child even though she couldn’t do much, teaching her son at home so that he won’t lag behind in school.Show more
I also love Lyd’s part. The scene where Elijah asked if she have ever killed before. She narrated her murdering story, what she hated and what she learnt. She might be a brave heart and a thug but she portrayed a very good adult to Elijah. She told Elijah he won’t feel the same way he thought he would if he kill his father and she not trying to bring God into her deeds.
Boro trying his best to part way with his brutal and abusive manner, trying to be a good father and husband really thrilled me.
For Elijah to have even confided in Orabere really show that in any situation, you will always have your personal person, who will listen to you and won’t judge you. Orabere corrected him even though she doesn’t know much.
Trust me, “Kill Boro” is a 9/10.
It’s a great movie with wrapped in didactism
The setup of the movie, the accent and all, really a great movie
