This movie is specifically a mirror of our society. The lessons are numerous. It may not have comedy as much as most people want but this is top notch for me.

The correct interpretation of this movie title is simply “Mis-step” not “A Day of Misfortune”. The subtitles in yoruba movies had often elicited ridicule the way they are translated but it is even a bigger shame when the title is misinterpreted for non yoruba speaking viewers. That makes a mockery of the whole movie.
