Modola Osifuwa has always been deeply involved in the arts. From her days in elementary and secondary school, she was a key player in the Drama Club and Drama Society, often taking lead roles in school plays and musicals. She was also a dedicated member of the Literary and Debating Society, representing her school in several inter-school competitions.
During her time at LAUTECH, Modola worked part-time as a model with a local agency in Oyo State, landing various gigs. She also started collaborating with fellow creatives at the university, acting in short films produced by indie filmmakers.
After graduating, Modola moved to Lagos to pursue a career in the creative industry. She signed with a top modeling agency and worked as a freelance commercial model for major brands. Despite auditioning for numerous film and TV roles, she initially found it challenging to break into the industry. Instead, she turned to the comedy scene, working with skit-makers and quickly becoming a prominent actress in the field.
Modola's unique brand is characterized by her excellent English language skills, including a British accent, and her ability to switch effortlessly between English, Yoruba, and Pidgin. She has appeared in over a hundred comedy skits and has collaborated with many well-known comedians, establishing herself as a leading figure in the industry.
