Born in Lagos State on August 28, 1984, to a former navy officer named Daniel Johnson and his wife Elizabeth, Mercy Johnson Okojie is a Nigerian actress, film director, and producer. She is the fourth child in the family of seven. She attended Rivers State Secondary School and the Nigerian Navy Secondary School in Port Harcourt, Rivers State for her secondary education. After finishing her secondary education, she tried out for a part in the film "The Maid" and went on to star in many blockbuster movies.
