Biography

Folu Storm's career path initially led her to work as a lawyer before she transitioned to the media industry. In 2012, she joined the radio station 92.3 Inspiration FM. She gained recognition by becoming one of the three finalists in the MTV Base Africa's VJ search. Subsequently, Storms was employed by Ndani TV, a Nigerian company, where she served as a presenter and content producer. Notably, she produced "The New Africa" documentary, which earned a nomination for the Best Documentary Award at the 2016 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards.

In addition to her roles in broadcasting, Storms co-hosted the Breakfast show at Smooth 98.1FM in Lagos, maintaining this position until at least 2019. Her contributions to the media industry have been acknowledged through various awards, including the 2017 Ebony Life TV Sisterhood Awards for TV Personality of the Year and the 2018 On-Air Personality award at the Future Awards and ELOY Awards.
