Eric Obinna is an award winning Nigerian veteran actor known for his prolific work across stage, radio, television, and film. He was born on November 4, 1971.

Obinna began his acting career on stage at the age of sixteen with the Anansa playhouse in Lagos. His first major role was playing a 96-year-old man in Radiance of the Sea, a role that helped launch his career and highlight his versatility. He later earned a degree in Theatre Arts from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. He is noted for his powerful voice and enigmatic presence.
He successfully transitioned to screen acting (Nollywood) due to the low income from stage acting and has since appeared in numerous productions.
