When the leader of Al Harb is captured, intelligence reveals a looming attack on Lagos during a major AU event. Amid heightened security, the Governor is kidnapped and murdered. His successor, former police chief Folake Adeniran, takes office and reactivates the Special Crimes Unit. As the investigation unfolds, whispers of her involvement grow. To steady the crisis, the government brings in Bankole "Banks" Omisore, a straight-shooting investigator forced to navigate political landmines, rising terror, and a conspiracy that could tear the state apart.
